X-Phobic tm is a pre-treatment for the removal of Rain-x and other hydrophobic treatments. As most technicians already know you need to remove contaminates before you begin a repair. Dirt and debris is picked free from the pit area before you apply resin. But what about contaminates inside the break, how do you remove them? Until now you couldn’t. X-Phobic dissolves many if not all such contaminates as waxes, soaps, hydrophobic treatments, etc. Without removing those contaminates your resin is adhering to the contaminates instead of the glass and your repair may not hold.
