The Equalizer® Freedom cutting tool (deluxe kit) works from inside of the vehicle to cut the urethane that bonds the glass to the pinchweld. A .020" thick blade reciprocates inside the metal sheath which protects the dash, garnish mouldings and headliner. The blade is never really exposed because as it leaves the sheath it penetrates the urethane. This patented sheath allows you to adjust the blade so it will not hit the pinchweld on the outside of the vehicle. The Equalizer® Freedom has eighteen volts of pure power for the toughest auto glass removal. Built with input from hundreds of technicians, it really was designed by Auto Glass Technicians. A high torque motor drives the blade at 4,000 strokes per minute. The Equalizer® Freedom will remove two or three windshields with one battery charge depending on how difficult the glass is to remove. If you are just cutting the bottom, you can remove up to five glasses per charge depending on difficulty. Blades and sheaths are interchangeable with all other Equalizer® tools except Express® tools. ECT113 Deluxe kit comes with a 120-Volt 1-hour charger, one each of 4", 8", and 12" sheaths, two each of 4", 8", and 12" blades, one pair of safety glasses, one instructional DVD and a plastic carrying case.
