Service and Repair Guidelines

Tool Service and Repair Process:

After completing the Tool Service and Repair Form,
First, we will review your Service and Repair Form submission internally within 1-2 business days to determine whether your tool is under warranty or not. You will receive an email with the results of our internal review, a copy of your work order and further instructions. 

If your part is in fact under Warranty, a UPS Pickup will be scheduled within 1-2 business days at the address that we confirm with you. You will not need to print a label, as UPS will bring one with them. 

If your part is not under Warranty, or if this is not an item manufactured from GT Tools®, you will need to pay for any repairs to the item and all freight costs associated with the service and repair process. Once you receive the email with your work order and further instructions, please return all items to:

Please be advised that Glass Technology Inc. reserves the right to the final approval of a valid warranty claim. Upon warranty approval Glass Technology Inc. will repair or replace the unit at its discretion. 

Product Warranty Coverage

Warranty is extended to hand tools and power tools. All disposable and consumable supply items are not subject to warranty coverage.

Operation and Use of Products

All items warrantied must follow standard operating procedures outlined. These processes are outlined in the comprehensive Glass Technology Inc. instruction manual.

Product Warranty

Every Glass Technology Inc. tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. Each tool is warrantied to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of 1 year from the date of original purchase. Should any trouble develop during this warranty period, contact Glass Technology Inc. for proper return documentation procedures. Returns will not be accepted without the proper return documentation. Glass Technology Inc. reserves the right to the final approval of a valid warranty claim. Upon warranty approval Glass Technology Inc. will repair or replace the unit at its discretion.

No warranty shall apply to any parts that have been subject to normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, alteration or negligence from the end user. This includes any Non-Glass Technology Inc. parts that have been used to alter or modify the original Glass Technology Inc. tool. Glass Technology Inc. is also not liable for any damage that may occur while using the equipment.

Some Glass Technology Inc. tools are covered by a limited-time warranty against manufacturer defects. Please refer to the user's manual that came with your system for any applicable warranty information and return/repair procedures.
