The DiamondClear MV resin is versatile and works effectively on most common chip and crack types, including bulls-eyes, star breaks, combination breaks, and short cracks.
What safety precautions should I follow when using this resin?
Always wear protective gloves and safety glasses. Avoid skin and eye contact, and use the resin in a well-ventilated area.
What is the viscosity and refractive index of this resin?
The DiamondClear MV resin is a medium-viscosity formula with a refractive index engineered to match automotive glass for near-invisible repairs.
Will the repaired area be completely invisible? While results depend on the type and size of the damage?
DiamondClear MV resin significantly reduces visibility and blends the repair closely with the surrounding glass.
How should I store the resin when not in use?
Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Always keep the cap tightly sealed to prevent contamination.
Are there certain types of chips that specific tints work better on? And we live in upper part of ND, but we fix everything inside so temperature during repair is always regulated but outside could be -40 or 110, which would be recommended?
Thanks for the questions. Our tinted resin products are designed to match the tinted PBV layer between the glass. Some windshields PBV are tinted blue/green, grey, or amber hence the blue/green, grey and amber tinted resins. RLVAF - below 65 degrees RMVAF- 65-85 degrees RHVAF - 85 degrees and above RPF - 65 degrees and above RPFAF - 65 degrees and below RCRAF - long cracks all temps Hope this helps!

Does this product fix line cracks 6ins or more?
I would purchase our Long Crack Repair Kit for those 6" cracks. This comes with expanders to open up the crack and allow resin to flow in as well as our CR long crack repair resin.
