What are the dimensions as compared to the GT .44? Please state the length for both.

Andy, The GT.38 is roughly 18" long from battery to sheath tip (not including blade). The GT.44 is 20.5" long from battery to sheath tip (not including blade)

Does it come with a case?

Hey Jamie,

The GT.38 ships in a box but does not come with a carrying case. Most technicians either put it in a toolbox or if they are mobile, have some sort of holster setup in their van to hold reciprocating tools.

We do ALOT of big truck glass. Sometimes the bigger tools are tough because they are bulky. This looks to be great size and weight. Question is, will the .38 power through the thick urethane that bond 1383s, 1494s and OEM 1302/03s? Thank you!

Hi Joel, Thanks for reaching out. The stroke length on the GT.38 and all of our reciprocating power tools is slightly less than 0.5". We've engineered it to be the ideal stroke for urethane removal without body damage.

Does the .38 Special have an LED light for darker places?

Yes, it sure does!!
