Hey Glenn, Thanks for reaching out. The pit gloss would be the wrong product for this application. When you have a bunch of small pits on your windshield, you will need to first fill with our pit filler, (https://www.gtglass.com/products/high-viscosity-windshield-repair-resin-pit-filler), then leave in the sun for an extended period of time or cure with a UV Lamp (https://www.gtglass.com/collections/uv-lamps-and-bulbs-1/products/12-volt-uv-curing-lamp-6-inch).You will then use a straight razor blade held perpendicular to the glass, scraping across each pit quickly until the extra pit filler is gone from around the pit. You can THEN polish the pits with your pit gloss until the luster is recovered. When all is said and done, its probably more cost-effective for you to bring your car to a windshield repair shop and have them do this for you.
Best,

Great for polishing pits after filling with resin
This formula of pit polish gives the glass a nice finish. I previously used a micro fiber towel but have found best results using a wine cork.
