I’ve used this repair tool in the past. Had to order one for myself. Wouldn’t order from any other company!

I have been using GT Windshield repair since 1998 when I got my first 20/20 system.

This is a great evolved injector. Fast, smaller, quick to mount with almost no screw adjustment needed, I had even finished repairs with both screws up (never overtight the screws or you will crack the chip!). The results are great. I got 7 of them now.

Just two things:

One, sometimes you need less pressure on delicate or risky chips and you got two options: High pressure /Super High pressure. I solved it by inserting 1/3 of the plunger in the body before closing the air flow with the needle.

Two, you don´t need to fill the body of the injector with resin. I directly fill the o-ring over the chip and screw the body over it. I thought you figure that out with the spectrum. The only thing you need to fill the injector with, is air.

And one more thing: You need a solution for very curved areas of the windshield.

I like the superstar I have used the Spectrum which is discontinued for 3 years and love it so when I bought the Superstar I was hesitant but its a streamlined version that really does the job well.

This thing makes phenomenal repairs. User friendly and get's the job done.

Works great! I feel much more confident in fixing my windshield. If I were to suggest an improvement, I would suggest a better pressure relief on the injector. It often blows the o-ring out of the grove and you need to make sure it’s seated properly when tightening down the internal piston.
