This would be the right product to try if your experiencing hazing on the surface of the glass. You will want to make sure the glass in thoroughly cleaned. It is also recommended to use a drill the spins at a minimum of 1500 rpm's. Good luck with your restoration!

Will this work for surface scratches on glass topped tables?

This kit is best suited for very light rub marks of the surface of the glass including table tops.

We have glass tiles on our kitchen counters that have dulled when exposed to a baking soda scrub I used to clean the stone tiles surrounding them. Looking to polish the shine back. This looks like appropriate sized equipment. The tiles are a variety of 1"x1" and 3"x3". Does this sound like an appropriate fit for my needs? Do I need to purchase any other components for the job? thank you so much!!

I'm working on some double pane windows that the seal has broken on and they have experienced fogging between the panes that becomes condensation that runs down the glass. Over time this results in water streaks which as they dry leave a white residue, I'm assuming, of calcium. That can be cleaned off when the windows are disassembled, but there is a subtle 'checkering' like a faint spider web that remains and seems impossible to remove. Have tried vinegar and even full strength muriatic acid without success as well as polishing compound. I'm wondering if this product might remove it? I could send a pic if someone emailed me. I'm hesitant to buy a product that is made for a similar but different purpose, is it possible to obtain a small sample that I could try on a spot to see if it works on this similar problem?

Thank you for your question. After reviewing your explanation of the problem we believe that you are experiencing a Low E coating deterioration on the glass. Low E coatings are applied to the interior layer of the glass also called the 2nd or 3rd side of the glass. This coating can be removed with glass polish like Cerium Oxide, however in removing the coating you will no longer have solar reflectivity benefits.

Worth every penny.

Nothing is worse than a scuff on the glass, as a mobile tech this has been a lifesaver and has saved me from making a trip back to the shop or supplier.

First Time User

Removed Haze Quickly - excellent product. Took very little to do the job.
It was a little messy on my first use. That can be remedied with better windshield masking and minimal mixture applied to 5 inch felt wheel. Next time will mask all the way on to the edge of the glass, prepare less product and put very little on the felt wheel.
Used a variable speed rotary polisher - worked well at 1500 rpm. Might have even worked at 1000 but didn’t try it. As GT Tools suggests, it is essential to have a spray bottle of distilled water on hand. Apply it to the windshield as needed to keep it a little milky. Maybe that’s why it worked so fast. Certainly recommend it as an effective product.

Great product

Diamond Fast Powder works well and just as advertised on light scratches and (light) abrasive fogged glass. The online tutorials are very helpful and should answer most "how to" questions.

did a great job of removing the windshield wiper scratches on my '63 Pontiac. Definitely cheaper than a new windshield. The polishing pad takes a little practice to get used to but if you keep it wet it works great

Works good.

5" polishing wheel with Cerium Oxide

The Cerium Oxide did the job. The 5" polishing wheel was too large. I could not keep it stable on the glass surface. I had to use the edges of the wheel. I believe a 3" wheel would have been more useful.
