What are these pliers used for?
They are used to install rearview mirrors onto mirror buttons that are already bonded to the glass.
Will these pliers scratch the glass or mirror?
No. The PVC-coated jaws help protect glass, mirror housings, and surrounding components.
Can these be used to install mirror buttons?
No. These are designed for installing mirrors onto already-installed mirror buttons, not for bonding buttons to glass.
Why use these instead of hand pressure?
They provide controlled, even pressure for proper seating without risking uneven force or component damage.
Are they suitable for tight spaces?
Yes. The narrow jaw design allows precise positioning around the mirror mount area.
